    Hello everyone !

Thank you for all your C&C's on my previous post !

Had been a fantastic here for me here at BPN and it is all because of you fellow members who have helped me throughout the year. I wish to learn more and more in the coming year and so looking forward for all your cooperation once again and hope that i also contribute to some extent in the same.

A lioness was lazying around in the Mara on a lovely morning when we happened to sight them and spent few moments with the family which were also having lovely little cubs . Cropped slightly from the bottom to eliminate the skull portion of another lioness which was lying around and also cropped from the lhs for composition .

DPP 4 , CS6 , curves, reduced the contrast and opened the midtones slightly , selective colour , sharpening and one round of NR on the BG .

Hi Haseeb, a nice, simple portrait of a yawning lioness - a good 'Stock' shot for any Photo library.

The backdrop is clean, yet has the hint of grass in the FG is a nice addition and is not distracting, but adds context. You may or may not want to loose the blade of grass on the Lioness for an even 'cleaner' look, but no deal breaker. As you were square on, perhaps f/5.6 might have been better, but you had a good SS to freeze the moment which is key and nice to see the 5D being pushed a little, as it should be.

Hi Haseeb - A very nice and classic yawning image. Colors and tones look good. Nice one and looking forward to more in 2017!

Great side-on yawn here Haseeb! Best wishes for you for 2017.
I think you can go a tad darker with a hint more contrast overall for this one?
