    I captured this image in the early morning light last week in Darlington, Maryland.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 800mm f/5.6
    1/2000 @ f/6.3 ISO 250. Full manual metering.
    Post processed in Photoshop CC 2017
    Cropped for composition and presentation. Downsized significantly for posting on this site.

    You had excellent light and I love the sharp head with good details. I am not sure about the composition though, especially the near wing looks a bit awkward. The image is fairly noisy for such low ISO(?) make sure you mask the BG when sharpening and also back off on sharpening a bit

    I think the right wing tends to distract from a beautiful image. Maybe give more of the right wing if possible
