Surprise Christmas visit

We had a Christmas morning visit from this (young I think) GB. He should be south of here by now, but it has been a bit warmer than usual.

There is quite a bit of noise as I had to bring up the shadows quite a bit as this was very backlit. It was also shot through glass to not spook him.

What a Xmas treat! Lovely position of the bird. Nice background.
Re. the noise--what if you treated the bird more as a silhouette, with just the edges showing the back or edge lighting? It might be stunning.

This turned out to be a wonderful mix of traditional (the bird) and the modern )bokeh dots. Nice.
