Hi Morkel - A classic scene with really nice elements of the tree, mountains in bg, interesting clouds and, of course, the elephant. I feel it needs a bit more punch, particularly in the lighter tones.

    TFS,
    Rachel

A Classic Morkel image ! Loved it , all the elements have come out so well . The raised trunk takes the image to another level. The BW conversion absolutely works here but would also like to see a colour version for the same . Fantastic !

    TFS !

The very best wildlife images create an immediate emotional reaction from/in me. This is a perfect example. As soon as 'I register the image' feelings of excitment, awe and longing flood my senses.

Looks good to me I like the tonal range, I am finding these B&W images compulsive viewing - great shot I love it!

Morke l you don't need to put your name on your images it's written all over them.I am not usually a fan of B/W but I love this.

    Hi Morkel ... great stuff.
Lovely elephantscape in a gorgeous setting . Nice elements in the frame who does not fight with each other , all does look balanced to me .
Love the sky and the tonal range , very good conversion .

    Merry Christmas dear Morkel

This is stunning animalscape, loaded with atmosphere and a sense of solitude. I just love those skies, they carry so much weight and add mood to the entire scene, beautifully composed.
I certainly appreciate this, not only as photographer but also as traveller. You have a great ability to see, as well as portray beauty in Nature - congratulations Morkel

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
