    Wow Will, what a fierce looking kite. I like your composition and all the intersecting lines are very pleasing. I would only wish for more vibrance in the bird, as he looks a wee bit washed. Wonderful frame, well done!

    I love the eye contact here and if you have to cross-over with the horizon this is he way to do it.

    Was this the Welsh population or the Scottish?

    Nicely caught Will, the day was dull so I feel the colours are very natural in appearance.
    I often wonder about the merits of a bit more "pop". I have taken the liberty of making a repost- WDYT?

    I like the wing and tail positions, BG and composition. Maybe a version between yours and Jonathans would work. Nice image Will.

    There is one instance when the "pancake" wing positions works well, and that is with a head-on bird. I also love the split primaries and "rudder" tail to add interest. Nicely done!
