Hi Roger It still there but in a different form. Since we have local chapters we were able to make the change to a real gallery for travel images and cityscapes.
Just look for Travel and Cityscapes !!!! I think is shaping to be one special place !!! Hope you will place lots of your Italy images, looking forward to seeing them !!!!
OK. But all the old threads are gone. When I left for Italy, there were discussions about Utah travel and Colorado (if I remember correctly). The new forum seems to be about posting images. Is this where travel questions should go too?
If travel questions should go in the regional groups, I think some clarification is in order, like is Colorado in the southwest or midwest group? Similarly, other dividing lines are unclear. If Africa, why only South Africa (which has had only 3 posts in its entire history)? Where would one post a question about India, Alaska or Tanzania?
At the start we had no travel forums and we chose that type forum to cover our needs. Now that we have regional chapters we can do the travel we envisioned.
For questions you can post them in the chapters and I'm sure they will get attention. I understand we don't have the entire surface of the planet covered but keep in mind we have been in operation for six months !!!! Will get there !!!

OK, but I suggest that maybe some names need changing. Like "Africa : South Africa" should be just Africa. I would also suggest combining some US categories and only split them later if one shows too much activity, even as far as:
"western US, including Alaska and Hawaii" and "Eastern US." Then a category such as "The rest of The World"

I still think mid west, south west, north west, California, Alaska and Hawaii could be one group "western US" since their combined posts are few.
