    I think this is an eared grebe but I am not sure. From this Saturday morning at Bolsa Chica. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

    D500, Tamron 150-600mm at 600mm, f/6.3, 1/2000, ISO 800. Processed on LR and slightly cropped 74% pixels remaining.

    Looks like slightly tricky lighting, the highlights are good, I think I would lift the darker areas a little. The bird is very central I think I would move it slightly to the right.

    That's better - suggest you try selective color blacks - black 2 neutrals black 2 on the repost.
