Went to Nickerson beach this morning....................very overcast. I don't normally do/like high key....but i found myself liking this capture. Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm at 731mm at ISO 1250 and 1/1600 sec at f7.1 all tripod mounted/wimberly head.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.
Hi Roman,
I'm not a big fan of high-key stuff myself so I can't comment exposure wise. I like the pose. One thing that stands out to me is the abrupt end of the ripples on the right side. It looks like he needs more room to fly into.
Steve
I usually do not add canvass but in this case I would also have grabbed some of the ripples on a seperate layer and flipped them then blended in a bit easier to do with a wacom tablet then my laptop but something like this

Hi All,
The line is how it ended in the RAW file.........did have a little more canvas up front but it was same tone. I like what you did John. I think this addresses the issue well! Thanks!
