Back in July I captured an image of cutie on the rocky shore as mom was calling trying to distract us. It was an extremely precarious situation, having to look before each step taken because these chicks blend in so well with their surroundings, especially from above. C&C welcome.

    D4S, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/640, f 6.3, ISO 2000, hh, braced on rock.

    Hi Geoffrey,
Sure is cute and so small. I really like the seaweed i the foreground to break up the rocky beach. You did well here!
I wonder where it is now...

Lovely frame Geoffrey. I like the DOF and BG/FG colours. Nice detail on the chick. Has that 'lost' look on its face.

    Well done

A sweet image! The thumbnail doesn't do it justice. The fragile little puffball stands out nicely against the harsh Icelandic beach. Well captured.

Well geoffrey how cute is that! Lovely image well detailed and exposed, ideally a slight head turn would have improved further. Ilkethe composition but would be tempted to take a slice off the base to just below the seaweed.
