    Default Audubon's Oriole

audubons small by Joseph Cala, on Flickr

    Nikon D800
    600mm f/4
    1/1250, ISO 400, Flash fired.

Laguna Seca Ranch, Edinburgh TX shot from a blind. Was lucky enough to get the bird to quickly stop on this perch on it's way to an orange. Slight crop from the left for comp - otherwise just basic levels adjustments. C&C welcomed and appreciated.

Great capture, Joseph. Like the rich colors and especially the depth of detail both in the darks and lights. Nice head turn, perch and lovely BG.

Very nice pose and background. Details look good as well. Bird seems a bit tight in the frame for me. I would add more room on the right, top and left.

Lovely colours throughout. Nice pose perch and HA. Good control of the blacks. another vote for a looser crop. Well done Joseph.
