This was from a recent trip to Fort DeSoto .
    Shot with 7DII and 400 f5.6L , f7.1 1/2500 and iso 500
I lightened the eye and darkened the sky + noise reduction then sharpened just the bird. I am not sure if the sky is a little "overdone" ? It was a dull gray originally and I had a hard time trying to make it look natural.
Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Hi Stuart, not knowing the original gray, I think the sky looks very natural. Very well done. And the subtle cloud in the sky makes it for me. I love the down stroke and the head turn but wishing the sun shining the face rather than the back of the bird.

Nice work love the eye. I think it would be even stronger with the frame loosened up a bit especially towards the bottom to play off where the eye is looking. TFS
