When this Great Egret took off toward me, just before sunset at Chincoteague, I had no choice but to clip wings and legs. But I thought it made for an interesting perspective.

Sometimes I think heavy cropping is just as effective as seeing the full monty and this is one of those cases. But I wonder what it would look like cropping harder on the right and bottom - it could becomes almost geometric and add another dimension.
Hi Bill, sweet, sweet light, and overall well exposed for what we can see in the frame. Nice and sharp on the head, and I do like the feather detail on the near wing.
