    Default Ring-necked & Widgeon

I shot this handheld - I forgot my tripod that day. Village Creek Drying Beds - Arlington, TX 11/29/2016

I personally like the first photo the most because of the wing positions forming a stepping stone shape, but I wish it that the Widgeon's right wingtip wasn't going across the Ring-necked's body.

I posted the second because the two birds are not touching but are ALMOST in the same wing position.

As always, I look forward to hearing your comments to help me improve my photography!

nice looking widgeons Marlo, the shooting angle was a bit too steep here and looks like the birds were quite far from you and don't show much details. the best time for shooting ducks is when they land or take off against blue or green. keep up the good work!

Thanks Arash. You are correct they were above me at an angle. I appreciate the comments about best shot times and color of background.
