    Captured this encounter with a Great Black-backed and First Winter Gull back in 2014. C&C welcome.

    D3S, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/2500s, f 5.6, ISO 800, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Ouch, nipple cripple from the world's largest gull! that's gotta hurt. Terrific action shot, challenging to compose with all the elements, I think you have done a great job!

    I think you've done as well as you could with the scene. The wing position of the young gull is perfect. LOL at Matthew's comment
