    Default Sandhill Crane.

Hi everyone, This Sandhill Crane was taken at the Bosque north lake at sunrise, front lit with the rising morning sun. Edited in Lightroom, dropped the highlights, adjusted the white and blacks, moved over to PS CC for color correction (colorblindness) ,cropped in to remove some headroom and for comp. back to LR for output with standard sharpening. As always comments are very much welcome.

Beautiful light and nice pose. Colors seem slightly over-saturated, but perhaps that's the early morning light. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more room at the top, even at the expense of taking a slight sliver off the bottom.

Hi Bill, here's a quick re-post with a bit more headroom as suggested, as for the color saturation this was not an easy one to color correct with a red hue that covered the image, I got the numeric values as close as I could in CC without removing all of the red hue. Ill see if I can adjust the saturation a bit more. Thanks for the comments.

I much prefer the composition in the repost, and I was going to suggest something similar - Bill beat me to it. Great light you had, I'm only wondering if the contrast is a touch strong?
