    Default Grasshopper Sparrow

I got out this morning for a few hours in hopes of finding this bird , I ran into a buddy while I was out and he pointed me in the right direction and also loaned me his 100-400, 20D w/ 100-400, F/8.0 @ 1/400 sec, ISO 100, Manual exposure at -2/3.

nice light & details. i might crop a bit from top & shift the bird to the right of the frame slightly. but again that's a personal taste.

Gald you were able to locate this little sparrow. Nice capture but I do agree that cropping a tad from the top would help and also a vertical could work for this image. One thing I did notice is that it appears to be oversharpened on my monitor. Many thanks for sharing Wayne.

Agree with above comments, but still very nice. You are one up on me for these...never seen them in person before, but you can bet your bottom dollar that won't be for long!! :-) Might make it a sparrow weekend next week for these, Vesper, Clay-coloured, and Field Sparrows (all found in the same vicinity).
