    These birds perch and then fly to catch insects. Fast, erratic and agile flyers and yes the shadows are blocked but I was pleased just to get a lock on the bird. I'll keep trying for better light.

    Well done on locking on to these erratic flyers Colin, I can never get close enough to them. The colours look good but the IQ seems to be suffering a tad. How big a crop is this? Agree with you re: shadows and looking forward to more.

    Thanks Matt, yes it is a bit soft. a focal point was on the bird but I think not quite enough time to grab. ~50% crop.
