This works really well - love the array of colours and the way the tree splays across the frame, lots to look at and take in!

Amazingly colourful and very impressive am I right in assuming it is an acer of some sort? I like the composition very much indeed.
I am a little hesitant to ask having recently visited USA and you do have much brighter colours than we have here in UK - but are some of the greens a little OTT perhaps?

My wife has amassed (at the last count) some 20 acers so I have got used to how they look and on my screen the colours seem a tad overcooked. But in this particular image it seems to work; I think it is something to do with the layout of the colours such that one colour never gets too intense before the next takes over. It is almost graphic design in both construction and colour. Whether by accident or design I think it is intriguing.

I am assuming this was taken at the Japanese Gardens. Having been there many times I would say your saturation level is not alignment with the colors you see in the natural environment, more specifically the greens. Tone them down a tad and the colors in the image will appear more natural.

    Thanks for the comments.
As for the color, I am not trying to make a "natural" image. I am trying to create an attractive one.

Beautiful work Dan...you could do some amazing out-of-the-box artistic renderings with this image as well!

HI Dan, Late to the party here but wanted to let you know I really like this one the comp is nicely balanced and while the colors are a little saturated I am used to seeing these gardens portrayed that way. This image would make a stunning print on metal or acrylic.
