    Here is another from sharing time with this otter. His/she's face and snout are covered in sand from rolling in it. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Joe, to me the image looks a fraction 'fuzzy' the detail lacks clarity & sharpness, is the RAW sharp? Is there heat haze???

    Hi Joeseph -- I echo the above , at the first look i felt the same regarding the sharpness and clarity , to me it also appears that there is a camera shake .

    Thanks everyone for viewing, commenting, and critiquing. Very much appreciated...

    I revisited the image and did the sharpening again from the beginning. I think the softness was introduced in post processing. Here is a repost.

    P.S. Looking at the original now it appears over processed. Another lesson learned.

    Joe, it's certainly better, but if you look at some of the Avian images you have posted and compare them to this, there is a marked difference and I'm unsure why???
