I captured this image of a Purple Gallinule feeding on Fire Flag blossoms Monday morning at Circle B Bar Reserve. Not the purest background but unless they feed or climb on stalks that overhang the water the background is vegetation too close for separation. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.
