    Default Great Blue Heron

    I was photographing this heron when it took flight. Flying towards me, then turning to fly by my right side. I didn't have time to zoom out, I was only able to get the focus point on the head and capture a couple of images. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering 0 EV ISO 1000 AWB
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC
    Cropped slightly and rotated for composition and presentation

    The heron is nice and sharp but its to tight in the frame for me. Nice image Joe.
