I has a ton of fun working the locally common birds a couple of days ago. The Black-capped Chickadees are the most common woodland birds here, and often ignored because of that...but boy do they offer great opportunities, and are a pleasure and easy to deal with at feeder setups.

Excellent image of beautiful little one with berries of the same colors as of the head.
    Superb composition.

Beautiful image Dan! I like the perch, pose, IQ, BG, composition and berries really add to the image. With such a thin perch it must have been moving for a while after he landed. Not an easy image to get.

Hot **** that is good. So jealous of this one. Just a wow image for me. It's all been said. The berries, image quality, perfect perch, beautiful fall background. Makes me want to go out and get a chickadee shot now. Don't have any keepers of this species.

What a stunning shot of my favorite bird. The leaves frame the Chickadee beautifully. No nits.
