This fellow was imaged at the local bird sanctuary this am. I liked the fall feel, the Buffle Heads and background giving a nice sense of depth to the image

Post: Small crop for comp, toned down a few spots of whites.

    Advice and comments always appreciated.

Good flight position and white control Randy. I would have removed the two oof ducks on the water below the bird. Also What is the blue and orange patch under the far wing?

Thanks Colin for your thoughts. I did debate about removing the buffle heads in the background.

The blue under the wing is just a shadowed area, and the orange is the background showing through the arch of the wing.

Terrific close-up capture of this guy. I rather like the Bufflehead pair in the bg, but I have a fondness for Buffies.

I like the flight angle, open beak, composition and autumn mood. Nice image Randy.
