    Mike:

Very well done, with great dorsal view, excellent eye contact/head turn, vegetation adds, dark background highlights the bird. I might consider lowering the luminosity of the whites just near the tail. Angled nicely in the frame, and just enough tilt to display the back nicely.

    Your position worked well.

    Cheers

That looks great, can feel the wind the bird is floating in.

You have caught the updraft from those cliffs very well Mike, that cold old north sea gives you a good backdrop that makes the bird really pop, can't find any nits it all looks fine to me,very good job.

Brilliant image, Mike. Detail and handling of blacks and whites spot on. The nest building material is a wonderful bonus.

Hi Mike, just love this flight pose, and the angle shows off most of what we want to see. Excellent exposure throughout, tack sharp, and the splash of green adds interest. Gotta love how the Gannet pops from the BG. Well captured.

I'm late to the party, but echo the other comments. A beautiful capture; the Gannet really stands out against the cold North Sea, and the touch of green tops it off. Congrats on the Theme winner.
