    Mid-May of this year. This was the only time that I've seen the legendary Magee Marsh warbler fallout on the right day. It was heavy overcast, but the abundance and variety of warblers was astounding. This is almost full-frame.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1600, 1/800s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Bill:

    Perfect timing, love the tongue, soft bg good. Well exposed

    The head/torso looks a bit soft, perhaps motion artifact.

    I need to hit the Marsh sometime to experience the "fallout"

    Very nice capture, Bill. Love the tongue getting ready to consume the morsel. Excellent light showing off the beautiful feather patterns of the CMWA. Great perch and just soft enough BG. Well done.
