Default Mud Shad it's whats for dinner

Love the color we have along the river right now. Canon 5DIV 600II +2x extender. ISO2000, f8 @3200sec. Not much for going away shots but I think this one works with so much of the head visible. Thanks for looking.Name: A98A7157bpn.jpg

    Joe:

Great sense of the season, big fish with powerful grip. Yes, a bit away, but still works overall for me.

Did you have to do any lightening of the head?

    Cheers

Thanks Randy. Yes the lower 3/4 of the head neck and under body was heavily shadowed that I pulled up a bit.

    Thanks Joe:

It was well done, but I just couldn't see how it would look that way with the light angle you had. One of the reasons I love shooting over snow, one gigantic fill reflector!

    Cheers

Great timing of the shot - the unusual head angle works well in the overall frame here.

Great action shot Joe. Looks like a beautiful fall BG. Focus, detail and exposure all working and the water splash adds.

This is a great frame Joe, the head turn, eye contact and the fish save the flying away position, you handled the exposure well and the details are clean and sharp
