    I like the pose and the interesting coral looking rocks. Problem is that the sun was too high and your light was quite strong causing some harsh shadows. I would loosen the crop a little as well. Would also do some eye work as now it just looks black.

    Hi Colin, I like the angled pose, together with the raised foot. Well exposed on the bird, and agree, a bit more space below and left.

    Thanks for the comments. Seems I'm always cropping a bit tight. I get sucked in by the detail- love the little grey toenails on this one!
