Here's another Gadwall hen landing. This one made a neater job of it than the one I posted yesterday.

D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1600, 1/2500s @ f/7.1 manual.

Like the pano crop, the golden water, and the way the feet have just touched the water. Head feathers look a little soft compared to the rest of the bird, but the image is otherwise sharp. Also the bands of water reflections on the bird seem overexposed.

Excellent water landing with engines reversing. Like the splash, and late afternoon light reflecting shore grasses on surface.
