While waiting for Ospreys to dive one morning an Osprey came from behind and dove so close
it was impossible to get it in-frame, I was glad to get 3 frames but all to close for a full body shot.

    Thanks for looking.

Great shot Tim, real action. No matter that the bird's head is slightly away and the wings are chopped off. You did well to react in time.

Great looking close up as she lifts this lunker out of the water. I like the tight comp but I also wish the HA was facing us a bit more. Well done, especially for a quickie grab shot.

Awesome shot. You got tack focus, fine detail and high IQ. I love the splashing water and the wet feathers. The head angle does not bother me at all.

Frame full of action a better head turn would have put it over the top.

You get 10 out of 10 for quick reflexes!! Tack sharp and love the talons and the fish.
Have to agree with above comments that this would be "killer" if you had a head turn your way!
I find capturing these almost perfect shots very frustrating/disappointing. I know that when I get this kind of image I spend days looking at the image over and over again agonizing about keeping or deleting it. I usually delete it because it drives me crazy "that I almost" got the perfect shot!
