Default theme - Osprey with Bunker

This shot is from July. It is a female adult Osprey with a live Bunker. Not exactly the way you usually see an Osprey carry a fish but there is a story here. The male had just dropped this fish in the nest and the female who had 2 - 5+- week old chicks in the nest took exception to the fish being alive. She picked it up almost immediately, transferred it to her talons in mid air, flew to a piling to kill the fish and then returned with it to feed the chicks. She was chirping the whole time, telling the male he was in the wrong.

I love the timing with this with the unfortunate fish, but it looks a little bright on my screen, maybe a curves adjustment on the brighter areas may help.

Great action and captured well. Agree with Mike, it is a wee bit bright. Those talons look awesome.

Thanks for the feedback. I pulled down the highlights in this one. Hopefully improved.

What a unique Osprey shot with the fish in the beak. Don't see that to often. The pose, exposure and details look great and I like the comp you chose. Well done
