    Default Canyon Wren.

Hi everyone, I almost never see these guys anywhere else but on the canyon sides, think I have only ever seen one close to the house once, they move around quite a bit so was lucky he just sat on the side for a few shots.
Edited in LR, moved over to PS for color correction as usual, removed a bit of noise and cloned in a bit of the rock that was OOF, resized and sharpened in LR. Comments always welcome.

This is a lovely shot Brian, colour on the bird and really natural feather detail is excellent, lichen covered perch adds to a fine image, like this a lot.

    Lovely close-up.
You have a nice color palette and the BG colors compliment the wren nicely.
Lichens on the perch are very nice. The feathers on the forehead and neck are just on the edge of being over sharpened.
A bit more of a head turn our way is the only improvement I would wish for.
    Very nice Brian,
    Gail

The perch is superb! Neat "nuthatch" pose here. I too could go for a slightly better head angle, but all else looks top notch to me.

I echo what Daniel said. Only other thing I could add is that if mine I would use NIK Viveza try a version where I lowered the contrast and structure of the background to see if I could take a little away from the busy background. Not sure it would work but I worth a shot I think.

Sweet image. I don't mind the BG but would probably have tried a crop just above the lower lichen patch.

Outstanding capture, Brian. The color palette is beautiful and light quality exceptional. Like the patches of lichen on perch.
