    Hi Hasbeeb

    Lovely image and light

I don't do Wildlife, mainly birds and Dragons, so maybe may comment is off base, but don't you think the subjects is too central in the frame

    best wishes

Hi Haseeb, is this in the meadow or close to the dam?

I think with the techs you were a bit too eager on the SS, you could have easily gone to around 1/1250, unless you felt there was some 'action' pending??? I would like to suggest going for a bit more atmosphere here with the light and play on the rich tones perhaps. I would also look at a bit of NR to the top part of the BKG.

Fond memories, first ever encounter with a Tiger (sadly not B2) whilst on elephant was here, but the trail of Gypsy jeeps...

Thank you Bill and Steve .

Here is a RP based on the suggestions .

@ Steve - i am still not able to get that vignetting kind of effect at the top and and bottom. Also i have reduced the noise considerably in the RP . WDYT ?
And this is the same meadow where there is a dam ( rajbehra area ). camera settings were from the last Tiger encounter and as we were coming out of the park saw this deer grazing in the meadows against setting sun , so stopped and quickly had a couple of shots and a few vehicles arrived at the same time so the deer ran away .

Hi Haseeb - Nice small in frame atmospheric image. I like the rp but like what Steve has done best.

    HI Haseeb,

the major has been said and done already with the composition.

I actually like your RP, simply bis it does not let the image look to harsh with contrast compared to the scene itself. This is just IMHO of course.
Everybody has a her/his own taste!

    Wish you a great day

    Ciao Anette

Haseeb, this is a senario I find fascinating to make images from, this is wonderful for me especially.I cannot yet make the image with the skills you have but what a joy to see your image and read the comments and view the reposts. They are so reminisant of our fallow your cheetal,I only know of them from watching too many tiger programmes.

I'd like too see her just a bit off center aswell, all else I adore. I like Steve's repost the best ,i like the warmth and the depth of saturation. sometimes it's interesting to play with what the camera does and light and maybe not represent the scene quite factually just occasionally.

Beautiful image Haseeb,I took something sort of similar yesterday it's a wonderful co incidence you posted this

    take care

    Stu

I enjoyed the image and subsequent reposts, I also thought the cheetal was a little too central. i really liked the rim light around the deer. I think the adjustment of the lighting has added considerably.
