    Hi Colin
although not blown I would try pulling the whites and highlights back to add more contrast and "colour" particularly to the bg

also maybe give a little more definition and clarity to the birds, particularly the GT Tattler

I realise that it was probably a very sunny day and that's what you saw .. but I feel that the image needs for "body"

But these are only what would be my preferences ..... and would be a contrast to your shot which has a "dreamy" feeling which is very attractive

Hi Colin - Good use of dof to have both birds sharp. I'm ok with the highlights and contrast because the birds are nicely separated from the bg. I think you could go with more of a pano crop taking some off the top.

Colin when I tried to photograph birds over in your country I struggled like mad with all that bright light and found it almost impossible to get a catch lite in the eye,so looking at this image I would say you have done very well getting this as good as it is .The fact that you also got both birds in focus is a real bonus.
