A little while back, I posted an Egret against a grass BG, and here is one against a water BG. These guys were flying off to fetch nesting material. Unfortunately, the light angle wasnt ideal to achieve decent images on their return.

Stu your exposure on this must be about perfect showing all the detail and little colour change ,even if I am not mistaken little mucky bits, all pin sharp.Looking at the shadow under the wing this cannot have been easy I know it would not have been for me.Very nice work.

Hi Stu - This looks really nice in sweet light with good exposure and details. I like the week position and it pops nicely against that blue bg.

There is something about a white bird over blue water. Great shot . It looks tack sharp and perfectly exposed.

This is perfection, Stu. The detail is simply magnificent. The razor sharpness with what looks to be a spot on exposure, brings this to another level. Beautiful blue water BG.

This is fantastic Stu!! I love the killer exposure, perfect light angle, great wing position, beautiful BG and the nice feather detals. About as good as you can ask for.
    Well done
