Wet day Grouse just sitting looking fed up with the weather, consequently very little light for shutter speed but does give some atmosphere.
Thanks for taking a look and your interest in my last Grouse post.

Now you are just 'rubbing salt into the wound' here Keith , love it, the water droplets on the plumages is a real killer, overall - a cracking image!!!

I hear what you say about the 'comb', but seriously, I think a slight adjustment here will help to pullout more detail & definition, it's like the wattle on a pheasant.

Hi Keith, good look back pose, and overall well exposed. There is no need to worry about the weather conditions, as the rain droplets puts a whole new perspective on the Grouse. An opportunity well used.

Looks good to me Keith, particularly like the bg light, fg and grasses around the bird

colours in the bird are subtle, apart from the red, to match the bg and fg

Terrific look-back pose, great habitat, and the water drops are icing on the cake. Exposure looks good to me. Nicely captured.
