Fantastic shot. superb exposures in blacks, beautiful red, great colors, details and superb composition.
I am trying to take its picture for last one month, not yet successful.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Bill I remember some of your other shots from Peru taken in the mist,I like the effect it gives to the bird,it all looks very tranquil, maybe a bit more at the bottom might work.

Good one, Bill. Excellent detail throughout, nice beads of water on his back and wings. Good angle and I like the slightly raised wings and tail. I too would like to see a bit more room at the base of frame.

Hi Bill, well exposed, and in turn, you have brought out the finer plumage detail nicely. I do like the high key BG from the misty conditions.

Thank you all. I, too, would have wanted a little more on the bottom. Unfortunately, a small ripple in the water caused a bit of distortion of the reflection just below the crop line, so I opted for a tighter pano.
