Hi Gio - Great action. Can you tell us a little more about the shot? I can see from the EXIF that you were using the 70-200 II plus the 1.4tc. Where was the focal point? The warthog looks sharper than the dog. Did you observe the chase and get a sequence? I do think you needed more dof but it looks like the light was low too. Is this a crop? What did you do in pp?

    Morning Giovanni

A good action shot, which as Rachel suggests ......... causes the viewer to want to know more about the situation - are they both after the same prey? - is the Hog going to ground? - what's happening?

the colours look good and the bg interesting - obviously you did not have much time to frame the shot

I really like shots like this and I keep going back to look at it - very interesting

    Hello
I will try to reply by my bad english...
I hav on my camera 70/200 plus 1,4 but I used it as 105 mm..
I no had time to change lens ..and I tried after to verify by software where was the focus but no find athe point.
ICould be possible also I no have AF but One shoot but I am no sure.
Off course no too much df but no light and the distance between the two subject was no few...
I hhave some shoots more but the problems are the same...I think no could be fine also using a different pp..but no problem if you like raw file.
    What appened after....?
The warthdog when wilddog where away go out but went in the wrong direction as the attacched shoot!
