This is one from my hide at the weekend. I have put out another few feeders on a small tree overhanging the loch, and it is working very well. Attracting all sorts of woodland birds and coming in real close, sometimes too close. The 1.4 is off. Only problems is when the Kingfisher arrives I need my 1.4 on, as his perches are further away. Nice problem to have though. The weather was changing quickly from bright sun, to dull clouds. I think I got lucky with 1/500 as these little guys are real fast. I was taking a photograph of a bird on the loch, when this Blue Tit arrived on one of the nearby perches. There are lots of perches, but only a few with nice BG's, so I try and choose the good perch with the good BG. Another good problem to have.

I cropped this one close, as this perch was too large for the bird.

I like the inquisitive look, clean BG and although the perch is rather large I like how it curves up. Sounds like the birds are keeping you busy Will!

Really nice image of this little guy. Good head angle and pose. The perch is a little dominant for such a small subject. There seems to be a pink cast to the perch but maybe that is how it is. The background is nice but the lighter area on the right frame edge could be toned down.

Excellent image. Beautiful colors with superb details. Very nice composition.
    I like the diagonal perch.

Will I think you would have difficulty getting the head and body any sharper than this, well done.
