I like the pose, setting, composition, BG and the red eyebrow. Well done Keith!

Very good image Keith, I like the placement of the grouse in the frame and the unfussy background, but like the grass around the bird.
The exposure looks ok with plenty of detail in the plumage.
    Love the eyebrows.

Lovely image Keith. The feather detail is very nice. A lovely HA, and very 'natural' looking BG. Nice colours throughout, prob one of your best IMO

    Well done

If you remember it, then it's a positive note Keith, plus you could have easily added a tad more DoF too.

If you have it, then moving the whole frame down a sliver, I personally feel would help. The soft, warm light has created some nice detail/depth in the blacks and the blue/black in and around the neck plumage. Just watch pushing the Red/Saturation on the 'comb'. A bird I would love to photograph Keith.

Very nice shot Keith, not that easy to get at this level in the grass. The light is lovely - a well presented shot.

Great pose and POV; and a great bird to capture. Love the habitat shown. Saturation on the eyebrows may be pushing the limit, but looks OK; white spot on flank may be toasted, but a small nit. Overall, a fine shot IMHO.

Thanks Bill agree about the white spot on these birds but must admit might be above my skill level to get it right,I,m ok with the eyebrows when I look on my kit.
