Hi, Anita, I'm so glad to have you back! I like the combination of verticals in the bottom boards and the horizontal lines in the shingles. I would probably remove the white specks on the windows and maybe the diagonal line in the bottom right pane. I like the way the yellows in the flowers and the blues in the window are picked up in the bottom boards. My favorite line is the diagonal shingle pointing at the window

Thanks for the comments. I thought I'd posted this yesterday, but something must have gone wrong, or I got interrupted. I removed the stuff from the window, which were part of the original image, and don't know which version I prefer. I always value suggestions!

My eye went right to that diagonal too. A nice touch. Were there items showing from inside (based on your comment above)? Might be nice to let them show to keep the windows from being blank. Would have to see that to determine.

Thanks, Hazel. I just checked original image--nothing showing inside--too bad.

Based on comments by Hazel and Cheryl, I darkened the diagonal piece of wood just a bit to emphasize it. Thanks!

that's ok about the windows. I just misunderstood a comment you'd made and thought you had erased inside stuff that showed. Still a very nice photo.

I like the lush foliage in the foreground contrasted with the weathered grey of the barn. Nice image!
