    A Bridled Tern coming in for a landing. I watched for a while and saw some repeated behavior so positioned myself for a shot.

    I like the way you have caught this bird particularly tail and the way the feet are stuck out ready for landing,nicely exposed.

    Excellent landing pose. Beautiful whites and nice composition.

    A well-timed shot, Colin. It is a shame about the OOF log in the corner which is distracting.

    Mike, that log is the landing target so I left it there for context. Easy enough to get rid of it. Other opinions?

    A wonderful landing pose of this beautiful tern. Good exposure, sharpness. Tough call about the log. I understand it is the target, but it's also distracting. The bird is so nice that I'd try a version without the log.

    Here's one without the landing log. Does look better, thanks for the suggestion.

    Hello,
    a really nice catch from the tern, the version without log looks better, but in my opinion it is to narrow (both versions) at the landing direction. the tern flies again the end of the photo;
    for me it would be better in a landscape format, if you had have the room and then with the log, more of it. :)

    ok i think it was not possible, just a suggestion.
