Welcome to the forum, especially another 7d2 shooter! The details look great to me. Exposure as well. I love the gnarly perch and the perfect background. Spread wings are a big plus. The problem is that the bird is facing away from us and the head is as well which is not the best pose.

Excellent image. Beautiful colors, superb details and nice composition.
    Superb use of flash.

Excellent studio-type portrait. Does look a little soft and I wonder if the reason the wings are out is that the bird is reacting to the flash which some birds can do astonishingly quickly. None the less a pleasing image, and welcome.

Welcome to The Forum and a very nice first post. The pose is beautiful showing the nice feather details and the colors and exposure look great too. The only thing that could have made this one better is if it looked over at you.
Nice work and looking forward to more.
