    Obviously the Catkins are a matter of taste

    Hi Bill, I like the colours you have on the bird. Quite a nice pose and HA. The catkins are ok with me, I find the twigs on our right a little distracting.

    Hi Bill, what a beautiful little bird, makes me think of the nuthatch's we have here, nice pose and feather details, like the comp also, Good job on the capture. Thanks for sharing!

    HI Bill,will see if I can get my comment right tonight.I have no problems with the catkins in fact they add interest,bird looks sharp but not over, and the colours are true to the species .Nice clean BG.

    Bill, beautiful bird nice and sharp, love the colors. I would like to see it higher in the frame but that's a matter of taste.
    The branches could stay or go either way it's a quick fix. Very nice.

    I agree with the bird being a little higher in the frame but otherwise a very nice looking image with lots of great details and colors well done
