It was early for the bison rut but these two teenagers still decided to spar a little bit when I was in Grand Teton National Park back in June.

f8 (I was shooting closer head shots when they started)

    C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,

Nice colour contrast and action here Rachel.
Despite the long grass it's good to see the glints in the eyes. Do you have images with higher head positions?

Thanks Morkel, this is the only image with the eyes visible. They keep their heads down when they spar.

Hi Rachel -- Lovely moment , and good details and colours as well . I too wish for a higher head position but nothing ever moves according to our wishes in the wild .

    TFS !

Very nice indeed Rachel, good tonal range with excellent detail. It is good to see the eyes and the curved tail adds a little extra dimension.
I must return one spring/summer the grasses look so green compared to when I visited.
