    A very striking shot of a beautiful bird. Beautiful background too. I think you might do better by cropping off some of the top.

    Hi Rosl,
    As you said, a nice simple portrait. Nice detail and I like the angle of him looking back over the perch. I would clone out the white wash on the perch and maybe take a bit more off the top.

    Beautiful bird with excellent sharpness and exposure (exposure compensation was just right). Nice catchlight in the eye. BG is very pretty. Agree about cropping some from the top and also removing the white stuff from the perch. Thanks for posting!

    thank you for commenting my image!
    If you would cropp a bit from the top; would you give up the original format, and cropp only from the top?
    I was thinking about some cropping but did not want to crop anything from the right or from the left.
    Would you?
