Another nice Sunbird. Pity about the leaf in the way but better to have the shot than not I say!

Bill agree about the leaf but still good for what you got,nice sharp detail on the head.

Hi Bill, what a beautiful bird, great colors and sharpness, awesome details, same as everyone with the leaf , i have the same issue with most of my shots lots of vegetation around my place, but the bird makes up for it, Great job!

Great bird with a good amount of iridescence - very appealing colours. Pity about that leaf - having the bird up on a perch would have been too awesome!

Hi Bill, great HA, and you have brought out excellent plumage detail and tack sharp too. I realise these guys are busy flittering between flowers, but any reason why you couldnt capture a full body image.
Hope you enjoyed your trip in SA.

Hi Stu - we have spent mid Jan to mid March in your wonderful country, (Knysna), for the past 5 years ..... we love the place
I have a few GDCS's images ..... but my sense of humour quite liked the leaf ...... although I realise it does not add to the image
