Photographed this Chipping Sparrow at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island today. Always nice to take a few hours from work on a sunny fall morning or any morning for that matter.
Canon 7dii and Canon 500 f4 ii + 1.4x iii. ISO 640, F9, SS 1/1600. Tripod mounted. Full frame.
Converted in DPP 4. Auto white balance. In PS I adjusted the contrast, highlights/shadows, saturation. Sharpened and applied noise reduction to background. Also cloned out a small distracting element.
Very nice.
Great DOF and sharp throughout.
Lovely light and BG.
I do not mind the BG vegetation as it does not overwhelm and add a nice pop of colour.
I like the size of sparrow in the frame,
