I was quiet amazed to see how long a giraffe's tongue is! This fellow made all sorts of faces at Ruaha. Light was quiet from the side so did recover some HLs from the ear.

Hi Sanjeev ... yes they can be comical at times with there tongue . Head shaking and tongue twisting together is looking great .... in the field , but very difficult to get it all in one frame .
You handled the strong sidelight quite well and you processed some nice detail in the fur . Comp does work and even if the BG is a bit busy it does look nicely separated due to the colors of the foliage .
Not sure about the colors , a tiny bit too saturated in the shadows for my taste , i think i would drop the red and oranges a bit and see how it looks .
Again the blacks does look a bit too strong in parts , for sure just my thought , you might think it does look right , no problem .

Hi Sanjeev -- Looks really funny , i have seen this behaviour but was not able to capture it . You did quiet well to capture the moment . Agree with what Andreas had to say abt the saturation in the shadows looks a tad strong and so do the blacks but it is marginal . Nice one though .

    TFS !

Hi Sanjeev - I love when giraffes make faces and your timing was good here. Techs also look good. Good advice from Andreas. I agree with his critique.

    TFS,
    Rachel
