    Default Least Sandpiper

I haven't had time to shoot lately but got a chance to do it last weekend. This peep was quite friendly when I approached it... not sure if it is juvenile or mature. 18MP resolution, cropped from the initial 24.

Awesome habitat!! Here is a perfect case that not going fully lower was best, well done on that. I like the light, just a few highlights that seem bright to me. Although nicely parallel to the sensor, a degree or more head turn would have given the image a few bonus points. Look like an adult to me, the juvenile having fresher rufous and buff-tinged feathers with some blacks.

    Very nice Adhika!
Love the color palette in this image.I also really like the little grasses at the feet.
I would increase the blacks slightly as I find the bird slightly washed out.
Excellent POV and this is a mature least sandpiper,
    Gail

Thanks, Dan & Gail! I have a few more from this series. Some with a little more head turn. Thanks for the feedback!
