I love the portrait here and I like how you have positioned the bird in the frame. I am wondering if there is a slight cyan cast in the image here.

Thanks, there was a cyan cast and I took it out as far as I thought suitable, any further and the browns were becoming unnatural.

Hi Colin, how about something like this, still retaining the original look & feel, but address some of those colours creeping in. You have truck loads of detail to come out, just look into the shadows.

    Cheers

Thanks Steve, but the blues are real, in the BG it is patches of water and sky and on the bird those wing feathers really are blue, and the browns are a rich brown.

Lovely feather detail and whites very well handled. Nicely positioned in the frame. I like the blue patches on the wing. Never realised that these were such handsome fellows.
